About Toyota
Kiichiro Toyoda founded Toyota Motor Corporation in 1937. Before breaking off to form his own company Toyoda produced
the Type A engine in 1934 and his first passenger car in 1936 while still working with his father at Toyota Industries. In 1957 Toyota made its
debut in the U.S. with the delivery of two Toyota Crowns. Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A Inc was established in 1957 and in 1972 Toyota began manufacturing
operations in the U.S. Toyota's Lexus brand was established in 1989 and the Scion brand was started in 2002.
Toyota currently operates in 26 locations around the world and sells to about 170 countries and regions including South America, Europe, China
and parts of Africa. For the fiscal year 2011, ending March 31st, 2011 Toyota Motor Corporation had net revenues of $246.7 billion. They sold a
total of 7.3 million vehicles. These vehicle sales include Scion and Lexus, but a large majority of them are Toyota vehicles.
For 2012 the Toyota Camry has been completely redesigned. The new Camry is one of 10 all-new or major-change products Toyota will be unveiling
the months ahead. The 2012 Camry has a new level of space, comfort, and refinement for both drivers and passengers. The new cabin is also even quieter
than before. The new Camry also gets optimal gas mileage without sacrificing power and performance. Overall the 2012 Toyota Camry is more sleek and
sporty and Toyota hopes will continue to be the number one selling sedan in America.
