For the first time, Ford is linking its charity support with bringing a new vehicle to market for the 2013 Ford Escape Hunger Drive. Ford and Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization, have partnered to showcase the all-new Ford Escape and donate meals to people at risk of hunger.

The drive-for-charity events, which will kick off at the end of July, can take place anywhere within a supporter’s community and could be in conjunction with another charity event. Event organizers will be fully supported by Ford, which will provide an all-new Escape for their event along with an expert to explain the attributes of the new sport utility vehicle.

Ford and Feeding America expect to provide more than 1.2 million meals in all and each drive-for-charity event attendee will receive a Ford backpack and an automatic entry into a sweepstakes.
