Several iconic car brands like Pontiac and Mercury are no more, GM and Chrysler went into and out of bankruptcy, Toyota’s recall issues forced the automaker to work hard to repair its image to retain its high brand perception, and on and on.

- The Fastest Way to Your Next Car – We’re picking this post out of pure sentiment; it’s the first blog post from CarLocate.com.
- What’s in a Key? – Our look at how car keys have changed over their 100 year history was a real eye-opener for us and our readers. And, of course, keys are still evolving. Recently, Ford developed a key that lets you control how your vehicle performs, and the automaker enhanced their innovative Ford MyKey® technology to let you block explicit satellite radio content and limit the car’s top speed.
- Making Your Car Ready for Summer – Let’s be honest: this has been a cold, wet winter for most of us across the U.S., and we’re certainly excited that it’s almost time for “convertible weather” here in our home state. This post is a good reminder of what we need to do to our cars before the warm weather arrives. This was also CarLocate.com’s 100th blog post.
- We Have a Winner! (CarLocate.com Photo Contest) – We were very proud to introduce the winner and runners-up of our first-ever photo contest. During the contest, it was such a blast to see new entries as they came in (such creativity!) and to watch the public voting as it happened (it is too cheesy to say it was a “photo finish”?). Congrats, again, to all the winners!
- CarLocate Crew Helps Children in Need – We think it’s important for us to give back to the communities where we live and work. One of our most memorable team outings to date was our holiday trip to Hannah’s Treasure Chest to wrap gifts for children in need. We love looking back at these pics to remember the good times - and good fortune - we share.
- Everybody Gets a 2012 VW Beetle! – We love giveaways, even if it’s someone else doing the giving! Plus, if we can talk about Dane Cook and Oprah in the same post, we’ll that’s one of our “Favorite Things.”
