Earlier this year, we told you about the “Your Ideas” campaign from Ford, which asked you to submit your ideas for making cars better. Now, Toyota is sponsoring a contest called “Your Ideas for Good” in which they want your ideas for making the world a better place through repurposing one of Toyota’s technologies.

The Toyota technologies you can choose from include the advanced parking guidance system, hybrid synergy drive^®, T.H.U.M.S. (Total Human Model for Safety) solar powered ventilation system, or touch tracer display technology. Your idea has to be focused on how these technologies can be better used for the world at large, not just by Toyota in their vehicles.

You can submit ideas from now through Feb. 28, 2011. After the voting period, a number of winners will be selected. Prizes include Toyota vehicles.
