We recently told you about the all-new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. If you’re interested in getting an early test drive of the Jeep Grand Cherokee, as well as all the other vehicles in the Jeep® brand lineup, you may want to check out the “Jeep Rocks & Road Tour,” an on- and off-road driving experience that will visit at least 11 cities across the U.S. this year.
The "Jeep Rocks & Road Tour" is open to the public and features obstacle courses that demonstrate Jeep Trail Rated® capabilities. The tour is held in conjunction with air shows, auto shows, and other festivals, so you can bundle your trip to your neighborhood fair with a Jeep vehicle test drive.
Tour Locations and Dates:
Jeep brand vehicles will be on-hand for participants to drive over a variety of surfaces. Attendees will learn to navigate off-road challenges, such as steep grades, rocky trails and log crossings, under the guidance of a trained instructor. Courses include elements that demonstrate the Trail Rated capabilities of Jeep vehicles for articulation, ground clearance, maneuverability and traction.
The family-friendly event also offers children the opportunity to take part in the Jeep brand experience. Jeep kids can drive “Power Wheels” mini-Jeep vehicles, climb a rock wall, and more.
If you already own a Jeep, you’ll have the opportunity to drive your own vehicle on a Jeep Owner’s Playground.
Visit www.jeep.com/rocksandroadtour to register. Bring your confirmation receipt to be sure you get in free to the Jeep portion of the event.
