New Jeep Cherokee Is Grander than Ever

The greatly anticipated 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee will arrive at dealerships soon, and it will be well worth the wait. With a new advertising campaign focused on pride in quality and American craftsmanship, Jeep has introduced a new tagline: “the things we make, make us,” boasting the quality and craftsmanship of the new Grand Cherokee model.

As the first all-new vehicle in four model years for Jeep, the new Grand Cherokee stays true to its off-road-capable roots, while also having the necessary on-road features to provide a premium driving experience.

In terms of performance, the 2011 Grand Cherokee offers a choice of three different 4x4 systems: Quadra-Trac I®, Quadra-Trac II®, and Quadra-Drive II®. The Quadra-Trac II and Quadra-Drive II also come with a new Selec-Terrain™ system to match driving conditions with five different terrain settings: Auto, Sand/Mud, Sport, Snow, and Rock.  The New Quadra-Lift™ air suspension system adds to the Grand Cherokee’s off-road capability by lifting the vehicle up to 4.1 inches from Park mode to a maximum ride height of 10.7 inches. It also has a 7,400-lb. towing capacity and comes equipped with Chrysler’s new Pentastar V-6 engine, which provides an 11 percent improvement in fuel economy for the Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The handsome styling of the new Grand Cherokee is shown off in its newly-designed, sleek and athletic-looking exterior. The interior is much roomier with additional passenger and cargo space and is made with premium soft-touch materials. The Grand Cherokee also comes equipped with numerous advanced technology features like Chrysler’s UConnect™ system, FLO TV™, and a premium, nine-speaker audio system. Even more impressive, though, are the more than 45 safety and security features available, including Electronic Stability Control, Forward Collision Warning, and Keyless Enter-N-Go.

The 2011 Grand Cherokee is designed to meet drivers’ every need, making their driving experiences easier, safer, and more enjoyable. Jeep has definitely added some more luxurious touches to the Grand Cherokee; but don’t be fooled, this is still one ready-to-go-off-road vehicle.
