Pimp Your Ride with Ford Custom Graphics

Ford is now making it easier and cheaper for car buyers to give their car or truck a little personality.

The automaker has announced that it will offer vinyl wrap designs for the new 2011 Ford Fiesta, which will go on sale in a few weeks; and now, Ford will expand its graphics offerings to the F-150 and the Mustang. These vinyl wraps allow drivers to get the look of a custom paint job, but for a lot less money.

From bubbles, to florals, to flames, and a variety of shapes and designs in between, there are approximately 50 graphics for each vehicle, in a variety of colors and sizes. Each vehicle will have its own set of graphics, different from the graphics for the other vehicles, and designed with that type of customer in mind. There’s a custom design for every Ford driver – male or female, young or old.

These vinyl wraps are installed right at the dealership, so your new Ford can be customized just the way you want it before you even drive it off the lot. The graphics range from $100 to $1,200 and are covered under a 3-year, 36,000 mile warranty. As easy as they are to install, the graphics can also be easily removed if the driver wants a new design or decides to sell the car.

The website, www.fordcustomgraphics.com, allows you to experiment with designs by selecting the style and color of the vehicle and the graphic, getting an actual preview of what the end-result will look like.

Eventually, the automaker plans to offer customization options for all its models.
