Ford Scores Best Among Automakers
2010 Lincoln MKT and New Suzuki Kizashi Rank as Top Car Models
AutoPacific, an automotive marketing and product-consulting firm, has announced the recipients of its 14th Annual Vehicle Satisfaction Awards (VSA), which aim to help consumers make more informed purchase decisions about their next new car purchase.
The awards measure how satisfied an owner is with his or her new car or light truck and are based this year on the responses of more than 42,000 new vehicle owners.
In announcing the awards, George Peterson, president of AutoPacific, said, “Vehicles that score highest in the Vehicle Satisfaction Awards are delivering value and satisfaction across a wide range of attributes. The winners perform well in 48 separate categories that objectively measure the ownership experience.”
At the manufacturer-level, Ford received five awards, while General Motors, Honda, Nissan, and Toyota had three VSA wins each.
Buick received the award for highest satisfaction for a “popular” brand, while Cadillac received the same award for a “premium” brand.
The all new 2010 Suzuki Kizashi was number one among all cars in the survey, scoring 99 points above the industry average.
