Volkswagen Reveals Super Bowl Commercial

After displaying a winning commercial during last year’s Super Bowl, Volkswagen plans to do it again with their latest reveal. 

“This is a perfect opportunity for Volkswagen to celebrate with the fans that have made 2011 such a record-setting year for the company,” said Tim Mahoney, Chief Product and Marketing Officer, Volkswagen of America, Inc. “This year’s commercial will build on Volkswagen’s ability to tell human stories simply while continuing to build on the brand’s momentum in the years ahead.”

‘It’s Reinvented!’ by Toyota

Toyota has announced the premiere of the extended version of its Super Bowl XLVI commercial. The commercial builds on the reinvention of the 2012 Camry and what it would be like if other things were reinvented for the better.

“Revinvention is a powerful idea and one we took to heart when we redesigned America’s most popular car with the launch of the 2012 Camry and elevated it above the competition,” said Billy Fay, group vice president of marketing at Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc.

During the Super Bowl viewing of this commercial viewers will be encouraged to tweet with the #Reinvented hashtag about what they’d like to see reinvented and selected tweets will be responded to in real-time with a creative depiction of their idea.

Lexus Packs a Punch at 2012 Chicago Auto Show

Lexus is hoping to make a ‘super’ impression on Chicagoans this year at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show.  For the first time ever Lexus will be displaying four of its renowned LFA super cars. Packing 552-horsepower in a V10 engine the LFA is considered one of the world’s greatest performance vehicles.

“The LFA has become a true halo vehicle for Lexus and its appearance exudes power and technical ingenuity,” said Paul Rohovsky, National Manager – Lexus Engagement Marketing.

Among these other world-class vehicles is the all-new 2013 Lexus GS. This sedan has become a symbol of Lexus’ redefined image and new evocative styling. The GS 350, the GS450h and the optional F sport package plays a vital role in conveying the boldness that customers can expect from a re-energized Lexus.

Another vehicle bound for Chicago is the updated Lexus LX full-size sport utility vehicle, which is due out later this year.  The LX has earned a distinction of being one of the best vehicles in its class since its originally debuted 15 years ago. 

Lexus’ gallery has several interactive displays that illustrate Lexus’ endless pursuit of perfection through engineering expertise and craftsmanship.

“Visitors can witness Lexus’ ongoing design and brand transformation through many dynamic vehicles,” says Rohovsky.
