Nissan Leaf Now Available in All U.S Markets

CarLocate Team, March 1, 2012, 05:27PM

Today marks the first day that drivers across the country will have the opportunity to order their Nissan LEAF no matter where they are located; as Nissan North America expands availability of the LEAF to all U.S. markets, nationwide.

The Nissan LEAF is now the only electric car ever to be available across the country.

“More than 22,000 LEAFs are on the road globally, having driven more than 30 million miles,” said Brian Carolin, senior vice president, Sales & Marketing, NNA.  “There is no longer any doubt that a 100-percent electric, zero-emissions vehicle fulfills the needs and desires of drivers from around the globe.  Nationwide availability of the Nissan LEAF means that now, anyone in the country can opt for a transportation solution that does not harm the environment, provides a pathway to energy independence, and doesn’t use a single drop of gas.”

Any reservation holders of the Nissan LEAF will receive emails this week from Nissan inviting them to engage in the Nissan LEAF ordering process.  Next week, anyone living in these new markets will have the opportunity to place a reservation and order a Nissan LEAF. Deliveries will start taking place in these new markets by summer.

Nissan LEAF Launched in New U.S. Markets

CarLocate Team, September 29, 2011, 03:43PM

This week orders for the Nissan LEAF will begin in Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey and New York. Deliveries of these LEAF orders will be available by December and will be equipped with new additional standard features; including quick charging and cold-weather features.

“Consumers have spoken, and it’s clear that they are looking for a car that produces zero emissions and uses no gas,” said Brian Carolin, senior VP, Sales and Marketing, Nissan North America.

Nissan will continue to expand into more new markets as the year continues.  By the end of the year, Delaware, Indiana, Louisiana, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island will be added as markets with the Nissan LEAF will be available for order.

Nissan will also launch the “Go Electric” Owner’s Blog on NissanLeafDrivers.com, which will feature weekly content from 14 Nissan LEAF owners who will share personal experiences about owning the electric vehicle. Nissan hopes this blog will be a gathering place for potential and current Nissan LEAF owners to discuss electric vehicle ownership.
