This week orders for the Nissan LEAF will begin in Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey and New York. Deliveries of these LEAF orders will be available by December and will be equipped with new additional standard features; including quick charging and cold-weather features.
“Consumers have spoken, and it’s clear that they are looking for a car that produces zero emissions and uses no gas,” said Brian Carolin, senior VP, Sales and Marketing, Nissan North America.
Nissan will continue to expand into more new markets as the year continues. By the end of the year, Delaware, Indiana, Louisiana, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island will be added as markets with the Nissan LEAF will be available for order.
Nissan will also launch the “Go Electric” Owner’s Blog on NissanLeafDrivers.com, which will feature weekly content from 14 Nissan LEAF owners who will share personal experiences about owning the electric vehicle. Nissan hopes this blog will be a gathering place for potential and current Nissan LEAF owners to discuss electric vehicle ownership.
