A new Strategic Study declared the Chevy Volt to be the overall leader in its Total Value Index (TVI). The study recently indicates the value of the Chevy Volt more than makes up for the premium buyers pay upfront for the electric car.
Extracted from a survey of over 68,000 car buyers, the Strategic Vision TVI is calculated with two key parts. First, drivers are asked questions regarding their overall assessment of their vehicles. The second part involves buyers’ assessment of costs associated with vehicle ownership.
Along with being the top rated best value vehicle overall, the Chevy Volt also led the Mid-Size Car category of the Strategic Vision TVI with a score of 836 out of a possible 1,000 points.
