Once again, Oprah has given away a car to her audience members. This year, it was during the 2010 “My Favorite Things” episode, and the car was an all-new 2012 Volkswagen Beetle. Since VW does not plan to fully reveal the new Beetle design until May 2011, audience members and viewers were instead treated to seeing just a silhouette of the re-designed car. The lucky audience members also received keys to the new Beetle, which will hit VW dealer showrooms in the fall.

According to a press release from VW, Oprah currently owns a new Beetle and asked Volkswagen to help her recognize the time, talents, and contributions of her specially selected audience members by giving them one of her favorite things. VW donated 275 of the new Beetles, plus applicable taxes and fees.

Certain trim levels and hybrids are excluded. There’s also a special “Red Carpet Lease” deal available on the 2011 Ford Mustang V6 Coupe.
• Happy Honda Days: Nearly every Honda model has a special offer in the automaker’s annual savings event.  Select from specials such as 0.9% financing on 2010 Accord Coupe or Accord Sedan, Civic Coupe, Civic GX, Civic Hybrid, and Civic Sedan models, and the CR-V. Or, take advantage of car lease specials on the 2010 Accord Crosstour, Fit, Insight, Odyssey, or Pilot.
• Suzuki: You’ll find special deals on a number of Suzuki vehicles, including 2.9% financing for 60 months the 2011 Kizashi, Grand Vitara, Equator Extended Cab, Equator Crew Cab, or the SX4 models: Sportback, Sedan, Sedan Sport, or Crossover.

These specials are just a small sampling of all the great car deals available to you this holiday season.
