"Click Your Pic @ CarLocate.com" Contest Called for Most Creative Use of the CarLocate.com Logo or Name in a Photo
DAYTON, Ohio – March 22, 2010 – CarLocate.com, a nationwide new and used car search Web site, today announced the winners of the "Click Your Pic @ CarLocate.com" photo contest. More than 100 people entered the contest by submitting their most creative use of the CarLocate.com name or logo in a photo. Over the past month, consumers nationwide have voted for their favorite entries to help select the grand prize, second place, and third place recipients.
"The logo photo contest has been one more way to add some fun to CarLocate.com and highlight how the site can help consumers 'shop smart' for their next new or used car," said Nicole Case, general manager of CarLocate.com. "We received some really creative entries and it was fun to watch the voting as it happened. More than 60,000 votes were cast and now we're ready to award some pretty nice electronics to the winners."
The contest winners include:
- Grand Prize: Dynero Lee will receive a Panasonic VIERA 58" Plasma HDTV for his "splashy" use of the CarLocate.com logo. (Photo.)
- Second Place: Kristin McMahon will receive a Sony BRAVIA 32" LCD TV for her photo of the CarLocate.com name spelled out with car parts. (Photo.)
- Third Place: Nandry Smith will receive a Sony VAIO Netbook for her photo featuring a joyous and successful CarLocate.com customer. (Photo.)
In addition, the CarLocate Crew chose two photos as their "staff picks"; these entrants will each receive a Best Buy gift card. Brandon Haumschilt's photo showing a crowd of CarLocate.com fans was named "Most Creative" and Elyse Balster's "CarLocate.com is Easy as Pie" photo was named "Most Marketable." (Photos.)
